Pattison Story

Pattison Story, a Boston resident, studied violin with Max Hobart and Abraham Chavez, Jr. She received her Bachelor of Music from New England Conservatory of Music and was a fellow at Tanglewood. A versatile performer, she plays either violin or viola with many musical organizations, including the Boston Ballet and Lyric Opera orchestras, Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra, and the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra. She is concertmaster of the Civic Symphony of Boston and the solo violinist in the New England Ragtime Ensemble with Gunther Schuller. Ms. Story is also very active with her chamber music group, the Cantabile Quartet, performing piano trios and quartets throughout the Boston area and the South Shore. As associate concertmaster of Pro Arte, she understudies all concertmaster solos and fills in as concertmaster when Kristina Nilsson is unavailable.
