Internship Program

Our Internship Program is designed to provide interns with practical hands-on experience in both artistic and administrative areas. This includes musical administration; development; special events; marketing and promotion; media and public relations; box office and audience services; production and stage management; and orchestra administration.

Internships are part-time with the number of hours dependent on the intern’s educational requirements, typically a minimum op 16 hours per week, are unpaid or minimally paid, and are handled on a project-by-project basis. Interns should be currently enrolled in an accredited academic program at a college, at least freshman level, and be receiving academic credit for the internship or must be participating in a training program approved by a public agency.

If applicants do not meet these criteria, they may still be able to gain knowledge and experience through our volunteer program.
