FOR OUR FINAL CONCERT OF THE SEASON we welcome back acclaimed conductor and Boston Lyric Opera music director David Angus. The program features Cambridge-based composer Howard Frazin’s atmospheric overture In the Forests of the Night and Samuel Barber’s lyrically sweet and elegant Violin Concerto, played by the brilliant BSO principal second violinist Haldan Martinson. As a fitting conclusion to the season, Pro Arte will perform Mozart’s final symphony, a showcase of the composer’s most adventurous, elegant, and expressive compositional techniques.
