Meena Malik

Meena Malik joined Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra as the Director of Operations in February 2011. Ms. Malik discovered her passion for arts administration when she started working for New England Conservatory Preparatory School and went on to pursue a Master of Science in Arts Administration at Boston University. In addition to her position at PACO, she currently serves as Director of Administration at MetroWest Opera and Choir Director/Soloist at First United Parish of Everett.
Ms. Malik is an active performer in the Boston area. Since making her operatic debut in Hansel and Gretel, she has performed with Opera Providence, MetroWest Opera, Boston Opera Collaborative, New England Orchestra and other local musical organizations. She also performs with Voci Angelica Trio, an ethnically diverse group of three New England Conservatory trained musicians that perform evocative and emotionally resonant folk music from Asian, Latin American, African and European traditions which are transformed into engaging original arrangements for cello, voice, and percussion. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with departmental honors from University of Redlands with a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music at New England Conservatory with Academic Honors.
